At Highfield we aim to find ways to enrich our school curriculum through clubs, event days and other opportunities.
Active Maths
We use Teach Active to enhance maths lessons at Highfield. These are active lesson starters, plenaries or main tasks that get the children up and active.

STEM CLUB
This year we held an extremely popular after school STEM club for some of Year 4 and 5.
We made paper chains out of one piece of paper, discovered what happens to skittles when placed in different liquids, learnt about the importance of nets of shapes for packaging, designed and made kebabs and challenged ourselves to make the tallest tower of cups!
