CARE Ambassadors

 CARE ambassadors, two from each class from Reception to Year 6, were elected by their peers in September 2024.

The role of the CARE ambassadors is to promote our school values:

Consideration:

• Consideration for yourself: by ensuring that you consider things that make you happy, consider your mindset, consider your personal values.
• Consider how other people might be feeling: by looking out for others and helping them if needed, this can be at any time of the school day.
• Consider our school environment: this may include looking after plants, keeping school tidy and litter free, organising books on the corridor… to name a few.  

Aspiration:

• Aspire to improve as an individual: demonstrating that you always striving show resilience and reach for the stars!

• Aspire to help other people improve: being supportive and taking an active role in coaching and helping others.

• Aspire to help school improve: How can we make Highfield even better? Creating and sharing ideas and bringing them to life. 

Responsibility:

• Responsible for yourself: demonstrating that you are responsible for your actions, that you follow the CARE motto and Ready, Respectful Safe mantra.

• Helping others to be responsible: being a good role model, supporting others if they need help, encouraging others to make good choices (this could be within a sporting activity, a choice about an action, being accountable for actions, to name a few.)  

Enjoyment:

• Enjoy yourself: you demonstrate enjoyment in different ways. This could be through learning, sport, friends, after school activities, hobbies – to name a few.

• Help others to enjoy themselves: help other people to ensure they are enjoying all aspects of school life.

The CARE Ambassadors have regular meetings with Mrs Brown & Mrs Lewis to discuss how our school community can demonstrate CARE through our behaviour; words and actions.
